Can somebody please tell me why
God created the House fly
Does it have a purpose
Maybe part of the food chain
I can't get my head around it
And I've tried again and again
Are they sent to test us
Or do they play a part
I just can't connect the link
I don't know where to start

A very good question in your very good poem Patricia here.I hate the things.I have no idea why they were created but note below!!
Houseflies are a danger to the health of man and animals principally because it carries and spreads disease organisms. They move from garbage and sewage to our dinner plates. It carries bacteria on the outside of its body, it regurgitates saliva and deposits wastes on human food. By comparison the cockroach is sanitary.
I cover everything I hate them.If one lands on my food I bin it LOL!! Take Care God Bless Kath
